Again, she did her job well...her gear just confused the hell out of me.

You confused =/= player being gimp, I've seen worse WHMs, he might be waiting to ding into pieces of higher level. (Assuming a HQ Vermy goes along with a SMN, PLD or RDM of more level)

You might've seen worse, as have I, but that still seems gimp to me. 2 expensive items that are just "meh" for their cost, that could be sold for better (and some cheaper) items... But yeah, whitebox cloak I guess would be the next argument. >.>

Anyway. Partied with a different kind of meleeing mage today - SCH! Meleeing 62 SCH :3 His gear wasn't gimp for a mage. Wearing everything you'd expect, except for the Rajas Ring. Lol. And he was meleeing with a staff, yes. Our RDM didn't join in though! lol. I just didn't wanna argue it, so I gave him minuet/madrigal and let him do his thing.

I think the best gear combos in town come from when you're switching from one job to another and heading to or from a level capped event. Weirdest omegwtf combos come out then...

Mine always seem to come right after Nyzul when I'm in the middle of swapping between sets as we exit, throw on W.legs and go...a minute later someone checks me and I realize I'm on Chasuble/Wise Cap/Crimson Gloves or some shit, or even better if we were just climbing and I'm half in a melee set and I pop out in Ogre feet/Ruby Ring/O.hat.

Linoa's gear has been the same since the 50s or so, with the exception of dinging into the cloak/adding af where appropriate.

they're just damn lazy (and not very good)

She seemed lazy gear-wise, but was on top of her duties enough as WHM to not get any complaints. Could've been a bit faster, but it wasn't bad overall.
Better than the SCH I had two nights ago who was bitching and complaining about erasing the slow that Diremites would put on our NIN. :D And the RDM that had to be reminded to haste him all the time.

I had a LS party meriting at the middle birds camp in Nyzul Isle (2 BRD Axe Burn pt) and this guy sees us meriting there and decides to bring his pt there (traditional setup, full adaman pld, lolmeleerdm and all)... needless to say they all warped out in 30 mins when they realized fighting one mob every ten minutes wasn't worth it.

I've misqouted before, trying to delete the Qouted part of the person im qoutign (attempting to prevent a double qoute) and ended up deleting the first half of the real qoute.

Still though, i thought "OMG DUSK JERKIN NOOOOOOOOB" then i read what he had typed and decided not to reply.
