if you read the last page, "I used 2 pro-ethers, 1 hi-elixir, 3 yag drinks, about 4 bags of hirashin and hyoton, less of doton and huton. 4 stacks of antidotes." is what Lemming stated.

to deviate the topic slightly, does anyone have an opinion of SMN soloing genbu, if it is possible, conceived tactics or tips, or experience, i think i want to attempt this some time this summer after i devise a clear plan.


offhand, i'm thinking most likely smn/nin, using gaiters to kite, and with the slow build up of hate from using tools/casting avatars/using potions kiting as carby runs behind beating on him.

another option i was considering was smn/nin, carby kiting normally(pet has hate) and using death as a means to wipe my hate as needed. potions/ethers/RR items a must as well.

I'm sure you can solo genbu on smn. It's simply a matter of how long.
Poison nails is only 11 MP, do you happen to know how much the poison does?
Remember you can always flat out kite him while you get MP back, but don't consider "death as a means to wipe hate". There's no real need and he will regen if you do.
Also, SMN has the great new JA Elemental Siphon- which could make this fight even simple, allowing you to do some of your better damaging bloodpacts every five minutes without need for worry.
