Just because someone said a trusted to be 99 synth got him to 100, doesn't make all 99s really a 100. Even if it was true that Blessed Pumps was mistakenly listed as 99 and is a 100, would not magically change all trusted to be 99s to 100, let alone in another craft. It would be foolish to think so.

I see where the Op was going with it now that you clear that up, but if someone got to 100 on them that would mean that the cap is level 100 not level 99. That still has nothing to do with the items that cap at 99 for clothcraft, because tons of people have spammed those synths plenty of times and not gotten a skill up past 99.
