[Important Update Details]
- Temporarily removed an NPC named Tahrongi Cacti in Tahrongi Canyon.

Improper use of the game was found to be possible through the use of this NPC. Removal of the NPC is a temporary measure against this issue. Due to this action, players will be unable to advance in the quest "Say it with Flowers."

* After counter measures are enacted, we plan on putting the NPC Tahrongi Cacti back into the game.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.

Probably POS hack/quest spam like usual. They must be pretty desperate to spam than one for only 400 gil a pop.

Confused as to why they don't put a fame limit/time limit on all quests they put in the game for now on instead of changing them 2 months later.

Reading the outline of the quest, I agree. It's POS-hack "friendly" to make gil with, despite the questions you have to answer.

Or just work on removing the ability to POS in the first place. If they put as many man hours into fixing POS/claim botting as they have cleaning up after them, we'd have them fixed 5 times over by now.

yeah, but that would actually make sense. the problem with that is that the botting community has been and always will be a step ahead of SE unless they come up with something very proactive.

Inflation isn't BAD. Surely losing value in items you've worked years to obtain is worse. RMT don't really do us a disservice by keeping the economy inflated a little. But whatever.

Things don't lose relative value due to inflation in a market driven economy. They only lose value relative to static numbers. In essence, your KClub is just as valuable now as ever.

My weskit is not as valuable now as it was when I first bought it. Unless you're saying you can get with 7000 now that you could get with 9000000 then.

Every time I see SE stomp on a quest that people were spamming via POS, I can't help but to wonder why they don't just leave it in and watch/catch the cheaters. It's like a Venus Fly/RMT Trap. Don't they watch To Catch a Predator??

Watching all the servers 24/7 is not feasible and if they dealt with it that way, it would still allow it to happen and create a ton of gil. It's equally a justice and more pragmatic 'what will happen with this solution?' issue.
