Playonline fails to open.

Well i was changing my POL password and kept getting a connection timed out. retry? message. Finally i gave up and logged out of POL so i can relog on another char. Relogged and got a version update for POL so i let it run through. Once it was finished i proceeded to log in and everytime POL tries to start i got an error message:

Playonline Viewer
"Cannot move version update files."

Then shuts down.

I was waiting for someone to make a new topic about the agreement update to post this, but I might as well do it here.

I had this problem as well, and I assume you are dual boxing? Close out all copies of FFXI and reload it and it should work fine.

Too pro. Thanks a ton. I had a playonline running in the background still because I figured if I can't start other POLs might wanna try to keep this one open as long as possible. Works normal again, thanks ^_^.
