I say go for the used 20gb if BC is even a remote concern. Who cares about the HDD size? you can always plug in any form of USB storge(USB HDD, flashdrive, etc) to expand it...or just get a bigger HDD to put in it. Assuming that is even a concern.

Dun like the 40, as far as i know they have 2 USB ports and i keep 2 things minimum plugged into my 60gig at all times <.<

You can hook up a USB hub for a few bucks. I never understood why people keep trying to make USB ports an argument against the 40gb PS3.

Dont get the 20gb its really crappy since it doesnt have the wifi card. For me its better to have BC that way i dont need to have ps2 near and free some space(i have the old version). The mgs4 bundle is really good dualshock+game, the only problem is the color is ugly as hell i like the piano black more.

PS3's Wifi card is pretty shitty so I wouldn't take that into too much consideration(and if you don't need wireless...it's not even one to begin with)... It doesn't play well with many common routers.

Most of the MGS bundles will be black, not gunmetal. What I want to know is where everyone is getting the information that the metal gear limitededition bundle will be 40gb in the US. Most people are guessing it because the JP version is 40gb, but completely forgetting that all JP bundles are the 40gb variety.

Works fine with my linksys,.. just had to tweak it a little.

Go w/the 80 gig. its less than 2 months away and it will be the only backwards compatible PS3 they are gonna reproduce (until they decide to drop it a few months later). If you want the ps3 now and cant wait then just go and buy a refurbished 60 gig for 450$ (though the 80 gig will be 50$ more once released)

I voted for 80, only bc the 60 isn't there which is the best PS3 sku by far.

Though the MGS4 bundle is a great deal, since you get the Dualshock 3 and the game for 500, which is the price of a normal 80. So that should be a no brainer.

Worked absolutely perfect with my first linksys with no tweaking and works even better with my new belkin router... if it works with belkin it'll work with anything.

As I said in the other thread, Sonystyle.com has the bundle online and if you apply for the credit card /approved you get $100 off the bundle. Then you can cancel the credit card like every other hard working American

Can you cite a sony source speaking specifically about the US one? I've yet to see sony give any details at all on the US version.

...and right before that, they say the "gun metal grey PS3..." (they did put it in quotations), which is why I assumed they were talking specifically about the design, and not so much the internals.

You'll note they also say

"...Stay tuned for more details on this exciting product!"

Which is I figure it's not a direct copy of the JP SKU.

I'm pretty sure it's going to be the 40GB and it will be limited in production and spammed to death by collectors so that none of us here can get it anyway.

i really dont see why they'd make it an 80gb, they could, but they'd have to redo the entire thing to do that and i just dont see them doing that.

i also think the reason they didnt show the box art for it is because it is indeed a 40gb
