well, I don't have the tools at home (I don't use netbeans anyway, eclipse ftw), but it definitely sounds like something is wrong (classpath?) with your set up if it doesn't recognize the defaultlistmodel. Does intellisense work if you type in javax.swing.?

It picks it up and lets me choose to auto fill it in however, It seems that its missing an <identifier> according to net beans. I only picked up netbeans so I could graphically set up the GUI so I could have everything nice and pretty to my tastes, and build the methods inside it by hand. I think I just might reinstall the JDK etc and try again sometime.

I wouldn't be surprised considering how incompatible it is with the other IDE's I've seen used by my fellow classmates. However, there wasn't much I could fuck up while installing beans, considering it does all the work for you.

Not magical at all, say the local sales tax is 8.25% as it is in texas. To find the total with tax you multiply the subtotal (sumOfCosts) by 1.0825, our example was 6% so, 1.06.

Grats on coasting through your education. Good to know whatever money goes towards tuition is well-spent. What school is this again, so that I might advise my employer to never take its graduates as entry-level programmers?
