So just built my new computer today. Specs are at: viewtopic.php?f=36&t=32492 with a slightly weaker video card, same PSU + Mobo and other stuff.
Put it together today, and when I hit the power switch nothing happens. I've read in the manual many times about the little switches that go from the case to the motherboard and flipped them around in almost every way you can. I've checked connections all over the place, still no response whatsoever.
Any ideas what the problem is? I/already was busted motherboard? PSU? Am I still just doing something wrong?
The PSU has a 2x10 connector to the motherboard, with it is a 2x2 that can't really reach any place else. The 2x10 connector only seems to fit on one side of the 2x12 slot, but the 2x2 has to awkwardly bend around if it were to fit into the remaining 2x2 slot left. I've tried both with and without the 2x2 plugged in, but I'm not even sure I have the 2x2 in completely when I do try it. Should it be in or not? Is there some other place I can fit the 2x10 section in the 2x12 slot?
It's my birthday and this is highly frustrating, any suggestions? I don't think I have any spare parts I can use, so that won't be a good fix.
