Awesome game, im loving every minute of it!

And there is some customization for the cars once you get to the S class. Actually thats all you really do in the S class. Online racing is also very fun!

if I didnt like GT3 I probably shouldnt even bother renting this should I?

The core gameplay has not changed from GT3 with the exception of being able to race online.

So yeah you should stay away if you don't like the grind for money or lack of sophisticated CPU AI.
