yeah but you gotta check the "Enable mind control gamepad" in the ffxi config lol

I think this is pretty cool. It's good for the people who can't react as quickly and it makes the people with quick reactions quicker.. I think...
A lot of people are ready for the new interface. The keyboard and mouse is very old, and many companies are looking into the future.

I don't know about you Stig but I'm not ready for this kind of technology with driving games. I'd still want to use my good ol' limbs.... and I didn't know Teh Stig played ffxi >_> lmao

None, it could only strengthen them(brains just like any other muscle, more you use it, stronger it gets).

There's debate on the potential for society to dumb down if these kind of devices became mass-scale(Because you have the potential for a large segment of society to have very strong brain function but using it all on stuff like this as opposed to more traditional science). Though I think that kind of speculation is silly.

I just ordered one to see if it can be any useful for FFXI (and other stuff).
Seller says these things arrive on April 25th. I'll report back once I got it.
It may not enable us to fully control a game or program but it's a first step

Where did you order it from, and how much did it cost. I've read everywhere from 200-700 USD.

The keyboard and mouse is very old, and many companies are looking into the future.

My brother is a quadraplegic and I recently got him playing FFXI using voice activation and a head pointer. After about 3 months now playing FFXI he's better than 3/4 of the mages that I have come across. It's quite a steep learning curve to use these devices to play FFXI, but he's figuring out more and more as time goes on. The hardest part is that he has to speak out almost every action that he does, but with experience and practice he gets better every day.

Oh, I also play with PS2 controller and keyboard, so I'm not very helpful with him learning keyboard shortcuts to do shit that I do with the controller.

That site has Xbox 360 Elites for 353€, but they are 440$ in the US so i dont know if 142€ is more than 160$. If it is you guys have dirt cheap xbox 360's.

Edit: After i look at prices compared i think it works out, they are both about same price.
