West handed Duncan his ass. (Well, other than Duncan's 20+ rebounds and what not.) Another blowout by the home team. Seems to be happening a lot in these playoffs.

Other than the Orlando/Detroit 4-1 series end (which was really a lot closer than the 4-1 makes it out to be, imo), these playoffs have been pretty nice. 2-2 BOS/CLE, 2-2 Utah/LA, 3-2 NO/SA.. I'm satisfied. At least we aren't getting quick sweeps.

Agreed, imo after last year, I wanted to see more of the Jazz, and they're like a more exciting version of the Spurs. Last year's playoffs were awesome, but the finals were so freaking terrible that it ruined the entire year (GS beating DAL, LeBron beating Detroit, Jazz-GS series).

This year, I really enjoy watching the Hornets. I'll admit, I'm totally bandwagonning with them -- West is quickly becoming my favorite player, and you can't help but love CP3's game. It really sucks that the Spurs beat the Suns, but still, SA-NO has been exciting.

Agreed. He really needs to work on his game in the low post. Whenever Shaq was within 3-5 feet with his back to the basket, he was scoring. The problem really isn't his ability to shoot, it's just his ability to get easy looks when Iso'd.

I played B-Ball casually, which leads me to a theory. Uh oh!

There are probably 10 times more people watching the basketball playoffs (that frequent these forums) than hockey fans. However, they are all casual fans who just enjoy it and don't really get into it. Hockey fans however, they are almost all fanatic batshit crazy fans who could argue for 15 forum pages why Sergie Federov shouldn't have been penalized for high sticking. The NBA casual fan could care less about something as arbitrarily equivalent in basketball.
