Yes I would. D'Antoni couldn't hold to Pop after the first half even if SA lost. Just look at that horrible defensive rotation SA took advantage of at the end of OT2. That wasn't a Duncan 3, it was attacking a specific weakness to get a layup.

If Ginobli hadn't made it, the game might turn out different but he put it away. Besides, no timeouts for the end of OT? Seems like bad management to me. You can't lay that at the feet of the players, it's the coach.

The spurs were attacking down low because the officials were bipolar. Shaq got 3 fouls in his first 5 minutes but they let him play for 12 minutes when the Spurs kept going after him with 5 fouls. You can't blame that on D'Antoni. Besides, at that point where Duncan shot, he was the LAST person on the floor that was supposed to take a game-tying 3 point buzzer beater. That was a poorly executed play.

The game was decided (as it should have been) by the players and partly decided by the officials for reffing the game so inconsistently.

I'm sure he could have kicked some ass in this game like he always does by working extra hard to get past their double teams but why would he need to work that hard when Denver completely underestimated the Gasol/Odom combo.
