TwentyFourSeven linkshell has recently worldshifted to Asura (April 2nd, 2008 according to their site), and I was wondering what the shell's rep is like on their previous server.

24/7 Didn't Migrate as a shell. 24/7 Was created on Asura. We come from diffrent servers.

You guys def knew each other though... because come on, no bunch of people migrate at the same time and just form up an LS, where did you all come from? No one makes an LS on Asura and starts claiming Fafnir/Nidhogg and Tiamat a week or so later...

Their core group is from Alexander and Caitsith I guess, if it's still the same, LS name was AbsoluteGenocide on both server, I'll let you search from there.

Asura's hnm scene can be rather boring, as crowded as we are there's hardly any big drama. Maybe these fellows will add some excitement. They're already scooping up the shitty\shady players

This linkshell was formed by a group of friends; friends who had friends who had friends is how we networked enough to get the shell going. And all these friends happened be to be on quite a few different servers, so yes we really did just all server transfer and meet up on Asura. Most of us are very experienced, though some are very, very new to endgame.

I try to promote a drama free linkshell (or as close to one as possible.. this IS FFXI we are a talking about). You won't find us MPKing other shells or starting any /say drama. As for player quality, I don't mind working with someone who needs experience as long as they are receptive to our strategies and tries to get better regarding skill and/or gear. I'm mostly concerned with personality and compatabilty with the rest of the group; that would be why I spam background checks here. I know a few have less than perfect BG checks but I give everyone 1 shot to prove themselves. I also have no problem with kicking someone right away if I don't think they will work out, though.

And also, there are maybe 6 people with us from AG; a couple more might join down the line. So really even using AbsoluteGenocide as a point of reference is kind of pointless.

You can talk semantics all day, but let's face it, it makes a shitload more sense to have one thread about a shell heavily populated by transfers rather than shitting up the forums with a check on every individual.

Also, will there be enough drama to make it worth me playing properly again?

I really don't understand why, pretty much this whole server is coming at us with such hostility. I mean, even some forum troll from quetz decided to get in on it. Like Ann said, we want a drama free linkshell, and we are friends of friend of friends, It's called Networking. If you would like to get to know us, you can talk to us in game, in between windows, or just in game if you see us. not drag it out to BG. Only on BG, where you can make a congratulatory thread that can be turned around, and the person that is being congratulated, can be made to look like a complete ass. So again, i don't know why you hate what you don't know. We WILL stay out of BG drama as well as in game drama, so don't get upset that we don't respond to posts like this, BG or our forums.

so anytime a linkshell trys to do HNM's they are the most hated LS on the server just because u have some new competion they have already stated that they want to promote a drama free LS and they are not walking arround talking shit about other LS's and blasting off at the mouth talking mess about other Linkshell i think this is just something new to keep bored asurians entertained

on another note before you go LAWLing a LS that actually has some potential instead of those sky LS's that are like "WE DO HNM'S NOW!" and claim faf and wipe with 18 people, give them a dam chance! im not takeing sides but it is annoying as hell that some people jump on the band wagon to have some time trolling forums and i also read there LS stie all the members that you say are shitty/shady um.... look at the accepted members list and check there BG they all have a good past... good BC = shady/shitty player? oh noes what is this world coming the good are bad and the bad are good?
