3.5M total for mine. My adamantoise egg was 1.5M of that.

And the only reason I didn't camp it myself is because most of the time, I was unable to get anyone out there to help with NQ. That, and for some reason, when I got people out there, days 1-3 were PACKED.

Eh, just a personal preference. I got a Behe Tongue for free once and tossed it when I learned the people who gave it to me were RMT. I have no illusions most players care to the same extent, because I know I can get ridiculous about it.

Considering how little Adamantoise is camped on Day 1,2,3, I'm surprised people pay 1mil or more for the egg. 100k is good, but anything expensive just isn't worth it when you can sneak in there as MNK and WHM or something and kill it aprx 3 times a week until egg drops. If you're restricted by time then it's understandable.

100k? You lucky shit. I'd be lying if said the unreasonable price of BB items wasn't at least half of why I still don't have one. 1m+ doesn't seem reasonable when it'll go to a lvl 1 MNK or be tossed otherwise.

While I personally would rather actually fight a difficult monster to get the items than get them for cash or free as some favor, I don't think less of people who buy them (unless they bought gil or something.)

So many people here paid for their BB items? I got mine for free, and I wasn't in any endgame shells during that time either. I just asked.

Granted it was three years ago, and HNMs weren't as crowded back then as it is now, but also a lot of the nice HNM leaders has quit since then.

100k per item is a steal, seriously. But camping out with a linkshell, and going after initial adds from pull with 2hr is not only a good way to get them to help you out (item), it's a good way to possibly get into the linkshell in general.
