4 crafting mules could each yield about 2-3mill a month I would think if this person arent into fishing.
You would need to craft for 4 years on 4 100mules to get that kind of gil.

Edit: Also, if you're only making 2-3mil a month crafting, you're an idiot, I make 2-3 mil a week and I've seriously cut down on crafting now that I have all my currency, I think I pulled in 38 mil in 2.5 months with only 1 T0 HQ, the rest being T1.

Just read his LJ, and it says LS paid for his stage3 which was early 2007? so if he needs LS to fund his lvl3 relic 1 year ago. how can that person have gotten 2 relics from that time?

I have absolutely NO vested interest in Jackyl, that LS, nor where the fuck he gets his money from, but you came out and said in general that /4/ crafting mules will make you 2-3mil a month, when I clearly make more than that with just my 1 craft, and it's a known fact that anyone who is dedicated to crafting, something other than cooking, is going to average far more than that per month at 100+3.

Were the relics LS funded? I don't care, mine was funded 2/3 by LS, going to probably do a second one 100% on my own after I finish up some HQ's and help my wife get beter geared.

Crafting is, was, and always will be the best source of money in this game, you can make 2-3 mil a month in ANY craft off of just crappy T2 alone, stop being ignorant.

If you wanted a history lesson on where all my gil came from, you should've just asked. Quite simple, KSNM service. Tyraravenlocke and I started a BLM KSNM service back in 2005 called Kaboom (though I believe we stole the name from another server's successful group) and made a fortune. Need proof? Clicky! I'm not quite sure just how much money I made from that but it was pretty huge amount. With the newfound wealth I invested in smithing and later bonecraft/leathercraft/alchemy rather than spending it on equipment. Fast forward 3 years and countless HQ's, you've got me with some relics and such.

As far as raping my LS in the rear orifice is concerned, I'm not sure how I would have gone about doing that when I'm merely a sackholder and have no access to the bank nor control lotting rights on my own. My LS funded stage 1, 2, and 3 of my shield. I then collected 10,000 bronzepieces on my own and turned in the 3000 back to the LS bank upon completion. For the 2 relics afterwards, I was able to do a handful (about 12 runs for both relics combined) of sponsored runs for each relic and was able to buy 2000 currency both times for half the market price. Besides that, everything else came out of my own pocket. Did I deserve all the wonderful help I received from my LS? I would like to think so. I spend majority of my playing time attending LS events and even organizing/running them when the leader is not available. Without a doubt, I can say I'm one of the people who've dedicated the most time to the linkshell.

Given that most servers has 3-4 people always making them and there are 2 each week selling you should be on avarge sell about one hauby+1 each month. Netting you a whopping 500k-1m/month as a smither. Prob can add in another 1m if you made other smithing items. Thats 2m from smithing each month.

As I recall, having an LS fund your relic usually means you sponsored, which gets you more back than you put in, assuming the runs go well.

Also: Where do you get that Haub +1 is the only way to make gil with 100+3 Smithing? Am I the only one who thinks that sounds contrapositively truthful?
