So let me get this right, you used money from KSNM to level smith, leather, bone and alchemy to 100.
In early 2007 your LS helped you with currancy for your first relic, suggesting that you only at that time had money to bearly complete one. And 350 days later you had enough money for another two relics?

So what are you making? Haubergeons+1 are 1m profit/12 -500k for each break. yielding about 500-1m each stack of D.ingots.
Given that most servers has 3-4 people always making them and there are 2 each week selling you should be on avarge sell about one hauby+1 each month. Netting you a whopping 500k-1m/month as a smither. Prob can add in another 1m if you made other smithing items. Thats 2m from smithing each month.

And you raised money for two relics in 350 days. I'm very impressed.

And Seth, your LS funded 2/3 of your relic, congratulations. but I must ask, how? did the LS leader say, hai guyz we gots 60m gil extra in the bank, what do you want to do with eet? and everyone cheered SETH SETH SETH?

Actually, the LS bank has well enough for 2 more full relics from scratch right now, we exist pretty much to make money and fund relics for members, thats the premise that the LS was founded on. I had just sold a pair of dusk gloves +1 right before our last sponsor finished, pushing me up to next wealthiest (i.e. fastest to finish without draining the bank) and now the next person is starting who has the most money out of the other people.

It's an amazing system, thanks, but feel free to keep making yourself sound like a fucking idiot.

KSNM manaburn service was good money back in 2005. The group I was in, I think we pulled in an average of 1.5-2M per BLM a week for just 3 hours of ODS from February to Septemberr 2005. I only wish I'd been smart and invested in a (worthwhile) craft too, instead of blowing it on god knows what lol

Just read his LJ, and it says LS paid for his stage3 which was early 2007? so if he needs LS to fund his lvl3 relic 1 year ago. how can that person have gotten 2 relics from that time?

Who ever said he needed the LS to fund him stage 3 (Ancile). The LS offered to help Jackyl out on his shield, so we did. The average linkshell is not able to support funding relics; well as our LS can actually help members fund relics. I find it interesting that you are putting so much effort in finding out how Jackyl made his money. I am sure if you ask nicely Jackyl can get you a job as his financial consultant, I hear he pays by the hour. If you put the amount of effort in researching Jackyl's history into funding relics, I am sure you would be in the same boat as Jackyl. As for the crafting goes Jackyl is super lucky when it comes to Tier 0s. I am sure if you followed the crafting forum you would understand why he has 3 relics but that would require reading.

You know some people actually saved the money they made during that period. I mean Jackyl was pumping out SH+1 left and right when they went for 30m. I will summarize it for you Test so you don't have to read too much. The reason he got relic 3 so fast is because he made money during the second relic by crafting with the help of the LS. He recieved currency for shield only and the LS cut him a deal on 20 100's for half price on the other two relics. He made Dusk gloves +1, Unicorn Leggings +1 x2, and Cursed Harness -1 x2 during relic number two. /sigh. Are you really that retarded? If you can't understand the fact Jackyl got his 10,000k piece and gave the 30 100's back to the LS from the 10,000k stage then I give up. There is little hope for you understanding how you can make more than 2m a month with 4 100 crafts. For example if you take the time to read what I posted about the Tier 0s, that easy adds up to 80-90M. Please tell me your not stupid enough to believe people didn't save money during inflation. lol

I know for a fact 3 people in my LS that had over 300M after inflation and one them having max gil. To answer the question about the free currency, the shield is used for LS events and was upgraded for the LS, not personal reasons. Jackyl was one the few people that could upgrade a relic at time besides the person I mentioned with max gil (which he already had X-cal and was working on Aegis). Jackyl deserves everything he has obtained in the LS including the shield by sacrificing tons of time and effort in the LS. I sorry if your LS can't do the same for you but don't hate on people that work hard for their items in the game.

Everyone soon followed with their BG-lulz towards this guy, now I pointed out that other linkshells, this "the inner circle" behavior on getting their leaders relic. Even Sath made my point, he says he will start getting his 2nd relic 100% funded by himself. He already got 2/3 of his first funded by his LS just because he was the most wealthiest in his shell, and as of this up for free currency.

So lets take average the joe who has worked hard on getting money for a relic. He joins a shell that rewards him 2/3 for a relic just because he had enough money for a second relic... What you end up with is a system that favor the few and feeds on the work of many.

I never "needed" LS help to finish my relics. The LS offered the help because I had the resources to put up my end of the currency and it thought that the shield would be utilized well considering my playtime/participation. Our LS bank was sitting around 150~200mil back then, I believe. We were buying cursed gear as well as other gear (hq staves, haub+1, fire bomblets, etc) for people and still had a lot of money left just because we were raking in money from various LS events. So with the money sitting around, the LS decided helping me with the shield would be a good investment.

Even after the shield was done, I was sitting on about 80mil I believe. During the time I was buying currency and working on my 2nd relic.. I actually made more money. When I was done with the second relic, I was sitting on 100mil. I guess it's hard to believe for some people but I used to spend a lot of time crafting when I wasn't busy with LS events(and still do). As Draken mentioned above, I had some retarded luck with tier0 items. Now after the 3rd relic, I still have a considerable amount of money left. I don't go and spend all my money to get a relic - I buy currency at the lowest possible prices and keep a good capital around to generate more gil with. Is it really that easy? No. I've spent countless hours looking on the AH to see what is profitable and where I can get synthesis materials for a better price and even more hours crafting - probably too much time lol.

Not everyone with 4 crafts at 100 can make money. First you need luck, especially in today's economy where just about every NQ synthesis results in a loss. I've had my share of very good luck and many can attest to that. You also need some common sense which many crafters lack nowadays. People rush to get a craft to 100 and pump out dozens of tier1 and 0 synths without HQ's and sell the NQ's for massive losses. And it's people like these that say crafting sucks and that there is no money in crafting. When you craft like a retard, then yeah, there is no money in crafting - for you.

You really should visit our site before you assume people are being abused. We reward everyone in the LS. The bank buys items from 200k-5m+ for special events for the members (Yes, the bank buys members items they get to keep)ex. Hauby+1, Ebow, and etc. We just recently finished another relic (Sakiyo) and we are still able to pay for all salvage gear for the whole LS (yes, bodies included) along with all cursed abjs. So are the members suffering now!? lol So I guess we have a system that favors most and leaves out few.
