you know I don't understand and I'm tired of all the like Hillary bandwagonbashing. I definitely don't care if people don't want Hillary as president. Everyone has their own ideas of whats important, and should vote for the canidate that fits the profile (as close as possible.)

With that being said it seems like the news and others are so hellbent on belittling Hillary that it just amazes me. Not necessarily saying that the OP is like that, but it definitely seemed he took one statement she said and just ran with it because "it's Hillary."

Like some have said above this is national policy. McCain or Obama would do the same thing in that position. She's just the one that happened to state it. I garuntee if McCain or Obama said it though no thread would have been made.


Iono I'm mostly irritated that at work we have the news running in our lobby. 90% of it is praising anything and everything that Obama says, and the 10% of it is to try and stumble up Hillary.


LOL not long ago I saw a news report about her. Was something like "Hillary says she did X, but did she really?!"

The funny thing is they would say "she claims to do this but is it true?" Then they'd show an interview where in the end the guy would basically say "well ya she did do that." But by the wording and the the tone of voice of the reporter would have anyone thinking she's been lying all the time.



I would love for someone to explain to me why people love to twist her words at a second notice to make her seem worse, way more so than Obama.

It's kind of a weird thing to not have the two candidates (Obama and McCain) going at each other at this time of the year, since Hilary desperately continues to grasp at straws. I'm not sure who gains the advantage between McCain and Obama because of this, but it just feels like a waiting game more than an election year right now.

The initial question was "how will you appeal to rural voters in PA?" and Obama responded saying that those voters, due to decades of slow and steady and unchecked economic decline, have politically aligned with religion and guns issues, as their economic interests have been ignored by both republican and democratic politicians. So, he would appeal to their economic interests. He wasn't insulting rural America; he was explaining how he saw their political motivations- they "bitterly cling" to non-economic issues because they've been ignored in that area for decades.

Here's a tip: The government can create programs that are run by human being. As a matter of fact, all government is run by human beings and very few of the jobs are life time appointments! So if they suck at their job and do things people don't like, they get replaced. Then, of course, there is a checks and balances system. It gets a bit screwy with party politics but it still is reasonably good.

You can't fucking call a system like ours Fascist, it lacks the absolute, unchecked power necessary for Fascism. The closest we get to Fascism is when all of our branches are controlled by a single political party.

Deserved is a loaded word. I tend not to like to use it because there is no truth to it, only opinion. We did, however, help set up the situation for 9/11 in ways that could have been forseeable and done different (and partially were forseen.)
