not by any means, run with it as you wish, 'mixtape' is being used very loosely, think of it as a compilation from a good friend

I had a good buddy growing up, cousin of my then longtime girlfriend, made me the sickest mixtapes, and on any given 20 track tape I might get as many as 10 favorite new bands

He introduced me to Godspeed You Black Emperor, Mogwai, Flaming Lips etc. and I always appreciated him taking the time to send a group of songs my way. My intent with this thread is to get a taste of a fan's selection of a band's songs, 'cause as I sorta pointed out with the Smashing Pumpkins, 8 albums of Bullet With Butterfly Wings they aren't

If you are interested in Jimmy Eat World like you said just grab their entire 'Futures' album and add on their radio singles. THe rest of their stuff pretty much blows, but the futures album is great.
