Apoc, Armada, V Belt, Ace's. Seen him with Dusk but didn't care to ever check if HQ or not. All that and he gimps with up with Amemet+1, lol.

Ace's helm has same str and same haste and w/ new acc thing the 4 dex isn't half bad and you get teh crit bonus... it's comparable enough that people can argue over which is better

anyway 4% haste 4 dex 4 str VS 4 str 7 acc 4% haste for 2h is very minor diff, except, again, askar head looks nicer haha

4 dex = approx 3 acc and minor crit boost
7 acc = 7 acc

Considering you also have that 20acc from apoca, Askar should definitely be the choice of headgear. The crit bonus might be small, but it sure beats 3acc that will take you from 95% acc to 95% acc <_< imo though, Ace's looks a lot better than Askar.

I've been on break awhile, but I remember DEX working in tiers. 4 DEX would still add to your critical%, but in a standard build like most DRKs use it would add maybe 0.25%? Ruke (I believe it was him) tested a DEX build on his SAM last year sometime and showed how it worked in brackets.

At the end of the day, it doesn't matter though. Not many pieces of gear really make an impact on your performance. Just bored and thought I'd post.

Edit: You might have missed that the person you are talking about has an E. Body and an Apoc. Accuracy, though important, is perhaps not the largest of his concerns.

my nin uses usu head over turban because with MY NIN's attacking speed, i'll pick 7 acc 3 str over 2% haste

my drk and etc job will use askar over turban because turban is ugly & im still cap 25% haste ,with apoc, with or without a turban

Yeah because when your acc is 95% you really need a little STR over Haste. I'm not just referring to DRK either. Just saying in general theres never a situation I'd use Askar over Aces on DRK/DRG/SAM. For Warrior I can see where Askar could be used over Turban, but not for DRK. On easy stuff I'd use Turban over Askar on WAR though.

My linkshell has two pimped out Apoc DRKs (E.body, V.Belt, Aces, etc) and both think Askar is shit, but hey I should stop posting because your opinion is somehow better than mine. Also if you think Apoc takes away your ACC needs then you're wrong.
