I definitely feel for JT. I would definitely put blame on Drogs more than JT. If he hadn't lost the plot and decided to go on a slapping spree, I'm sure he would have taken one of the first 5 penalties for Chelsea.

Just glad for an awesome game to watch. The entire bar was packed yesterday (was really surprised at this because I never would have thought this would happen at 245 on a Wednesday in Morgantown, WV). People were going nuts. Definitely a great experience and now I still can hold onto the belief that Arsenal will be the first London team to win the CL!

I've said it forever and even in this thread, Drogba is a wildly inconsistent player. One match, he can look like the best striker in the world and take total control of a match with his power and pace the same way Ronaldo (Brazil) used to be able to. The next match, he gets frustrated and "disappears" and displays his childish demeanor by his dives and behavior.

I'm a big Minnesota Vikings fan as well (NFL) and his demeanor reminds me so much of Randy Moss... and much like Randy, he will probably be forced to move to another club because Chelsea is getting tired of his antics, the same way the Vikings got tired of Moss.

Some conclusions about the match yesterday:

- I applaud C. Ronaldo for not diving as much as usual. The Slovakian ref yesterday has a pretty strong reputation for showing cards to divers and I'm sure he was well aware. Plus he was on a big stage and probably didn't want the reputation for being the "Holy Diver" (cue the Dio song!!).

- Carlos Tevez is a dirty player. I've noticed this over the course of the season, but it was really apparent yesterday. He's going to get what's coming to him eventually.

- Anelka cannot be the central forward for the Blues... sure he missed his penalty, but what kind of CF doesn't even break the top 5 in a penalty shootout? Pretty pathetic.

- I highly doubt Grant will be fired, although he may step down and move back to his old position at the club. We were one slipped penalty away from winning a CL title. He'll get another shot if he wants it.

Oh, also the pub I was at in Downtown Minneapolis had a nice turnout as well. There were probably a couple hundred people. Such a great atmosphere to watch a match.
