People type it like they say it here...
Think we should use exponential values of planck times roughly elapsed in the history of the Universe.
"The next version update will be out at 8.67584x10^64!"

And you have a freaking tunnel directly to France, you can't hate them and have a tunnel!
You're making americans look bad with that logic... Days are smaller units than Months because they're shorter, it has nothing to do with the amount that are in a month. For example, an inch is smaller than a foot, despite the fact that it takes 12 inches to make a foot, and only 3 feet to make a yard.Originally Posted by #686578
Also, saying "5th of March" is just as common as saying "March 5th" in the professional world.
You guys misread it, they aren't adjusting NPC Fellows, they're adding Brian Fellows.
Getting a bit defensive? A touch tetchy? http://www.newcelica.org/forums/imag...es/furious.gifOriginally Posted by Wizerd

Learn it live it, basically just US that refuse to use this standard for obscure reasons that are beyond me.
Edit: ISO 8601 is used so dates are able to be understood by anyone in written form, since a lot of countries has diffrent traditions when it comes to presenting date/time.
>_> I just provided perfect logic as to why #686578's logic was off, how is that considered being defensive?Originally Posted by ringthree

Also, to the person that said the "refresh" effect would only be active in campaign: I pre-emptively blame and hate you for SE doing exactly that.
...even if I already have 3 other refresh bodypieces.... Its the principal of the thing.
I considered using that as well, but found the millisecond conversion to be a little more amusing. I usually go with the ISO standard when it comes to programming.Originally Posted by Liquidedust

ABUSE OF POWER.
Rerail: I am actually looking forward to the missions if the CoP team is really the group that is handling this expansion. Too many of the mission have been dumbed down, and I hope that any new areas have to be accessed after a large number of missions. There was great storytelling and challenge in the CoP missions.
Agreed. For all the trouble people made CoP out to be, it was a great expansion both in challenge and storytelling.Originally Posted by ringthree
It should be the CoP team, but I still doubt the missions will be very challenging. Because the easier missions seem to appeal to more players (even if it's the idiots), it would probably make sense for them to make them easier (from a money-making aspect).Originally Posted by ringthree
I hope they're hard though.
lol not argueing with this standpoint since there is no point in doing so.Originally Posted by Rocl
But as an example the dates of 08/07/08 and 08/08/07 can get very confusing as an example if not using ISO standards![]()
Hoping For:
-Final Nyzul Relics
-BLU AF2 #@(#!
-DNC/SCH Merits
-The oncoming wave of nerfs that won't affect SMN at all, but plug things into the melee that make em sweat![]()
- Hoping that "chocobo raising update" includes a "Hey, why not let people ride those blue chocobos the guards brag about in bastok[S] so I can get around quicker on foot!" subnote.
Not that I care... *mumbles struggling to level BLM past 39*
Agreed! CoP was my favourite expansion. Challenging missions which helped make getting Sea still one of my most memorable achievements. Here's hoping for something similar with WotG..... but I'm not holding my breath.Originally Posted by Xanthe
