Checkpoints within missions? Shit only a few missions had any resemblance of difficulty, why do you need checkpoints?

Because I had to retry a bunch of missions and rather than throw me into the real difficult part when I failed I had to trudge through the retarded parts.

Fair enough, all GTA's have been like that though, it does get annoying but atleast in this you can abuse the taxi. Which I took great pleasure in doing at every opportunity.

I have yet to find anything to spend money on besides burgers and guns, both of which I can buy mountains of at this point. Where is buying clubs and houses and shit? Only used them a couple of times during the course of the game. It's once you've beat the game and just start going on rampages where you end up buying shitloads of em. Atleast for me anyway.

I spent a few hundred K on clothes. Just wanted to have every piece of clothing that was for sale and its always fun to shoot the salesman afterward. Other than that though I havnt found much use for money either.

I don't use them because I thought money was worth saving. Honestly, I'm bored with GTAIV, once you get past the whole "lawl, gta" thing doesn't this get boring? I feel like besides a few things in this game rock* has really went lazy. Cool, you did physics right in a game, and the graphics are nice, but what happened to the game? All the elements they brought in the other games are not here anymore, and only two of every type of gun sure gets boring, buy the best gun and that's that, problem solved, or hell, kill a swat and take their gun and use that for the rest of the game.

The missions are horribly repetitive to me, besides a few diamonds in the rough like the bank robbing thing this has been a really poor game for me. I've only played multiplayer once and it consisted of me driving around for 15min looking for someone to kill that was not an npc. Granted, I have not beat this but I'm not sure I want to at this rate.

If we are giving this game a rating, so far, I would say this is a 7/10 for effort, but that's me.

I agree. Three Leaf Clover (bank mission) was the only great part of the game imo. It does alot of things right but it just doesn't feel fun anymore. By far the worst missions out of 3-4 aswell, no variety whatsoever and I think they focused too much on being realistic.
