How are people liking the controls? Is this how they always are? I have not played a GTA game since it was top down and I can't tell if they suck or they are just going to take some getting used to after playing CoD4 so much.

Yup yup same here. I get 10% off + a $5 coupon so i can keep mine for about 39.99 + free shipping. Not bad considering the disc has to be brand new. They 'shipped' mine yesterday as well, but i don't expect to see it before Thursday. Tomorrow would be nice but i am not holding my breath.

The shooting mechanics are different compared to the old games, along with the new cover feature.

Pretty sure you can change the control options to be "classic" or "standard" version. Well I won't be picking up the game until tonight, but I remember reading you could change the control scheme.

The saving only with autosave and sleeping screws you over if you want to join an online game

It isn't for me, I've had people invite me and when I try to join it says "gj losing all your data since last save fag"

Turn auto-save off so you can manually save w/e you want to.
