I didn't want to make a thread so I will ask in here.

Is Dual Shock 3 absolutely worth it? I am sitting on 2 Six-Axis controllers wondering if I should trade them in and pay off the rest to get one. Though I was also thinking of just saving and getting the Ceramic White Japanese DS3.

I know GTA4 supports the DS3, as well as MGO beta. Sometimes I am getting shot the fuck up and can't don't even realize it since I have to turn the volume down sometimes. :/

Some input would be greatly appreciated.

Oh man the fucking Uncle Vlad mission was epic. But I could not hear the story part that Niko explained to his Cousin after he killed Vlad. Could someone fill me in on what he said?

Also, my only beef is that the game seems to be dark A LOT, has anyone else noticed this? Or is it just me?

i noticed it being a little dark, just increase the brightness a few ticks and it should help out a bit.

anyone know if you can aim in the car without niko blasting away? it's annoying as fuck hitting L2 to brake and accidental hitting L1 and having niko blast away near a cop or something without getting to aim.

Tried to play cops and robbers but people were fucking retarded and woudn't 'ready up' nor would the host start the fucking game when they were all ready for that 1minute.

Then I decided to try to join a different room but same game and my x-box just sits there loading for 5min...Anyone else have that problem?

Restarted x-box and tried again but it was the same shit. Retarded players+host+everyone decided to leave cause of how dumb it was+loading frenzy....gave up and called it a night.

I just messed around in free mode and did a couple death matches though.

I bought a DS3 the same day I finished paying off the game so I would have it when the game came out. Today when I went to pick it up i realized it was dead and I was really really bummed that I was going to have to play with one of my regular controllers. In my opinion it is worth it. I was a little taken back by the price tag when I first bought it though. I didn't expect it to be that much more than the DS2.

I accidentally hit the A button during the cutscene and missed it too so I replayed the mission lol.

What he basically says, is that 10 years ago there was 15 of them... friends of his or something like that, in war I think. Someone in the group betrayed and double crossed the rest and set them up, and 12 of them died. He said that he knew he wasn't the one who turned on his team, so it had to be one of two people left. One of them lives in Liberty City, which is actually the main reason he came there (and not really because of Roman, although it was part of it.)

It's moments like this that will leave this game in many gamers memories. I had a similar one where I chased a guy down, ran him into a building then got out and shot him while he was trying to get away. The fact that he actually slumped over the wheel activating the horn made me realize how much the details REALLY make experiences like this so much goddamn fun.
