Both go hand in hand. Pay off your credit cards to increase your credit rating and get a lower interest rate on your home. That lower rate will pay off you rcredit cards tenfold over the course of the mortgage.

And 3G is overrated... it's just their way of selling you on 'mandatory internet and smartphone' fees. I'm not at all impressed with the clarity of the service as I have extreme trouble with calls from time to time.
