Igqira and its Curseyness

Forgive me for a repost, but has anyone done any testing on what can and cannot be cursed?

In the middle of an Ouryu BC and we had a BLM pull with full Igqira and watched it uncurse to 89%. Basically saving us a flight.

What I've heard is essentially anything can be cursed. I've heard an example of it landing on practically everything, HNM and otherwise.

Someone mentioned there is some kind of fix to it, where something can only be HP-cursed once. So if it happens once at the beginning, you get max effect from it. Possibly only max HP reduced by 10%? Therefore anything below 89% has no actual effect, just temporary change in the life bar.

All it does is lowers max HP (apparently by 10%) then raises it again after some time. You could no more kill a mob this way than a BLM could kill themselves by forcing latent over and over, but I suppose it does give you a nice head start.

I thought it was common knowledge amongst blm that you can curse everything in the game by being smacked in igquira It's really nice for that reason.

My last LS tried pulling Ouryu with Taru BLMs a few times for the curse, never actually got it to proc when we wanted. Maybe there's a level modifier on probability, but it's definitely possible to curse damn near anything.

probably, all exp mobs and lower get cursed when I had igquira.

It's definitively not 100%, or at least, far from it with 3/5 pieces. It saved my life quite a few times, but I can think of a few time where I died training before the curse proc.



Curse never sticked on AV either in ~12hits. Considering the amount of BLM that were tossed at it like raw meat, I would say he is imune.

Maybe not 100% but it procs alot, and it always fun to Curse all kinds of mobs!

It's definitely not 100%. On Ouryu we usually have a BLM pull it with 3/5 Igqira on and once Curse proc's we have a COR use Dark Shot on it.

Proc rate with 3/5 is probably ~20% on Ouryu. Sometimes the BLM will get floored before it procs (even with spam heals).

Even wearing one piece it would proc within a 1-5 hits in Ballista/Diorama (so annoying). If there is some formula involved for level/resistance or if it was just lolpvp then I don't know...

It's not 100% but it's not 5% either. From what I've seen more like 20%. Obviously level differences, etc
