    Bhaflau Remnants Question

    Ok, so far on the 4th floor we have just been fleeing to zone to get up to the top floor.

    What I'm asking is, how hard are the gears on the fourth floor, ie, how difficult is it to take them down before they warp out, assuming clean pulls on all of them.

    Our current group is:

    MNK/NIN
    MNK/NIN
    RDM/WHM
    WHM/BLM
    WHM/BLM
    BRD/WHM

    COR/WHM
    BLM/WHM
    RDM/NIN
    NIN/WAR

    Any ideas would help, thanks.

    That group will wipe the floor with any gears on 4f, easily, before warp. Bliz4 from blm, Bliz3 from each of the rdms, and monks and melee to pick up the rest.

    BLM and RDM should stick to ice nukes on machinery such as gears, ramparts, and chariots, as thunder seems to bounce right off without doing much damage.

    We pulled it out a few times with mnk/war/thf/rdm/brd/whm. Just need 1 more DD to make it safe.

    We do with mnk nin thf rdm rdm brd, sometimes have a second bard. Keep buffs up all the time, have rdm's nuke if restoral.

    when we 6 man it we go with skillchains, makes it easier. with monk monk Thf you can do light with
    asuran fists > raging fists > sharkbite. Somehow they take huge dmg from light or darkness skill chains.

    And btw, its true that gears resist thunder, but not ramparts.

    Well, our other options would be that we could have one of the mnks switch to black mage, since we won't need to the nin off to the side building hate on LBC in case homing missiles goes off.

    Alternatively, we could have the nin or one of the mnks switch to SAM to provide us with the SCs if that would work better.

    Or, we could have one of our white mages switch to Ranger, since healing wouldn't be as intensive without having to throw constant erases etc.

    There are a lot of other possibilies, but those are the most obvious ones i can think of for speeding this process up.

    Do any of these sound BETTER than using our current setup, magic cells are really a non issue in bhaflau, so thats not a huge concern.

    nin to go sam probably best bet since Asuran > Gekko is easy darkness; also if your doing gears I'd tell cor to go /nin or /rng so your less likely to link since pulling them without wide scan sucks much less w/o enemy radar thing.

    Fire is also somewhat decent to nuke with.

    One of the PUPS diddlies(attachements?, blm head?) is suppose to nuke with whatever spell will get the least resists right?
    It used Fire on the Chariot Bosses, as well.

    Fix your pt set up. RDM MNK MNK NIN COR BRD for 1 pt, rest in the other. Your dd should always have as much support as they can get. Swap the nin out with a whitemage or redmage when you get to boss.

    I've gotten through with me (Brd) pulling them all, and the DDs being 2 Mnk/Nins 1 Thf 1 Blm 1 Cor and 3 Rdms.

    We easily took them down every time before they thought about warping.
