    Character Model Displaying Incorrectly

Hello! Don't kill me, I search'd, but came up empty. (wrong strings, maybe?)

Anyway, I recently installed FFXI on this laptop, and all the character models load really messed upish (even mannequins/moggle!). Everything else looks normal though (I didn't play much, but ran around the city, and casted Warp). I know very little about laptops, so I figured I'd ask for some help here.

    Stuff looks like this:

    Specs:

    Toshiba Satellite U305
    Intel Core Duo T5550 @ 1.83 GHz
    2038 MB RAM
Windows Vista Home Premium 32 Bit ¬¬
Mobile Intel® 965 Express Chipset Family (I guess this would be the graphics card)

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Usually means your video card is overheating/dying.

if thats true that's really bad for him as that intel thing he said is on the motherboard

actually i think this is a known incompatibility with intel onboard video and ffxi

Get your latest drivers from the link. Its a common problem with certain graphics card/adapters on Vista. I've ran into a lot of similar issues while I was trying to fix my frame rate problem on my new Vista system.
I really don't think your card/mobo is dying/overheating/imploding. Those have other symptoms (crashing, random reboots etc.) and quite uncommon with Intel on board graphics.
