Best Neckpiece for PLD

I'm sitting at 42 at the moment, I currently fulltime PCC, but I have Parade Gorget in storage for when I hit 50. I was interested in trying the hybrid/DD style of PLD, should I fulltime Parade though or PCC then Parade between fights?

Really depends on your mp management. If you are low on MP, then switch to PG. If you are fine on mp and the brd/rdm is keeping you ballad/refreshed, then use pcc and switch to PG between fights.

Pretty much what everyone else said. Ritter is ideal for both HP and Enmity, but if you don't do Einherjar or don't have the ichor yet, you'll need both Harmonia's for hate and Tempered Chain if you need the slot for your cure macro (pretty sure it's the highest HP in the slot after Ritter).

I don't bother with Shield Torque for Ni either, since it casts quickly enough that it doesn't matter. However, it's probably the ideal choice for the slot.

Also, depending on what I'm doing, I'll occasionally idle in Parrying Torque when I'm engaged. Obviously not going to help much with HNM stuff, but if you're /NINing something easier, or find yourself with too much MP (lol), it's not a terrible option.

I do enjoy parrying, wish it was higher for PLD. It's a shame PLD can't make use of a Parrying Torque though, just too many other good options it would never see the light of day. :/

I use it in Xarc holding NMs and see a noticeably higher parry rate than normal. Could just be placebo/random, but take it as you will. Can't imagine it'd be useful on anything more powerful than that though.

Ritter Gorget is a waste of Ichor imo. Unless you are an idiot and fulltiming it, there is no reason for it imo. Harmonia's has same Enmity+ and you should be swapping in Parade/Shield for Idle/Utsu depending on sub so HP, DEF and Evasion are wasted anyways. Unless you need it for C3/4 Macro it just seems like a waste to me. It's a "Whitebox(Rare/Ex) look what I wasted my Ichor on item". Really wouldn't recommend it unless you have nothing else to buy with Ichor.

Otherwise pretty much what everyone else said and I'm not getting into the blinking thing cause half the ppl didn't get what I said last time. (and lol@ Sath's comment about competent support!)

I have nothing else to spend Ichor on so it's a no brainer for me. Judai you just really dont like marginal changes do you? lol, I'm starting to think you dont own a single peice of HQ equipment

In his defense, he's got a point. Ideally, both Ritter and Harmonia's would only see the light of day in an Enmity macro, in which case it doesn't matter which you use because they're both the same. However, Ritter can be used in a Cure3/4 macro for both extra HP and Enmity, whereas if you have Harmonia's & Tempered, you only get to choose one. That right there is a pretty big deal IMO, and I'd value it pretty high simply because of it.

Right, they guy with Sniper's+1, Prism Cape, Mahatma Slops, Ares's and Morri Bodies, Snow Rings, Full HQ Staves inclusing Apollo's solely for my BLU, etcetc. I hate HQ shit! I clearly said the one and only use for it is C3/4 Macro and said you are an idiot if you fulltime it, otherwise none of those stats do jack shit for you. I also said it was a waste unless there is NOTHING else to buy.

I'm not a fan of retarded marginal increases and fake marginal increases. 1DEF / 25HP 5EVA do nothing for your Flash, Provoke, Ichi/Ni or whatever else you want to swap it in for.
