Ok so my nephew decided to download AIM or whatever that junk is on this PC today.
Anytime I want to open Internet Explorer this AOL LLC wants me to allow it to run and IF I don't let it, It just keeps asking for permission and basically forces me to allow it so that I can get on IE.
I know, I know 'lol' at IE browser but I just want to know wtf this program is for and why it wants to cockblock IE.

Run hijackthis/start IE in safe mode.

I'd go far enough to say IE can be worse on a system then AIM, mine doesn't bother me at all and unless you install all the extras it's harmless. Just switch to mozilla
