It's not based on total votes, it's based on where the voter ranks you. So if 5million people vote for you, but all vote for you to be 90-100 or so, you'll be lower than someone who gets 100 votes that are all top 10.

I think you meant if you're voted a lower number you'll get lower rank and if you average a higher number you get a higher rank? I think I'm reading your post backwards or you made a mistake while typing it.

For as horrible as House of Payne is, I think that the Flava Flav show is probably worse. (Then again, Tyler Perry probably dropped the bar low enough for Flava Flav to get a show.)

Pretty sure the Time 100 list that's printed in the magazine is decided on by Time, and this is just an internet thing.

Especially considering how last year Colbert got second yet mentioned how his astronomer friend got on the Time magazine list and he didn't.
