Leveling from 1 to 20 is very fast because there are just a lot of quest at the starting city which you are stuck at until 20 I believe. I haven't gone past lvl 20 so I don't know much about that but there seems to be already a lot of people at higher levels. Currently the cap is 80.

People are only level 80 because they exploited a level 30-ish quest that was repeatable and gave tons of EXP .

I don't think it's going to be very mainsteam imo, It's the first MMO to try something like this, and for a while the US version wasn't even going to get nipples (because we're prudes like that) although we were going to get dismemberments, decapitaions, impalings, etc. But no, decapitating someone is fine, but nipples, that's terrible. I love America.

It's a good game but I doubt it'll ever get close to something like WoW, because you can run WoW on a 10 year old PC, and you can't do this here. IF your computer is more than like a year old, I doubt you could run this game. People complain about WoW's graphics compared to this, but if you're running on anything less than like a 1500$ gaming rig, the graphics are going to look WORSE than WoWs.

Was like when I bought Orange Box getting all pumped to play, then realizing, oh the games not really on the disk, you have to wait 38 hours to download this on DSL. /sadinthepants

If you're having performance issues, try setting the Shader to v2.0 instead of v3.0, and restart the game. I gained 15 FPS on medium that way. Graphics aren't as good, but they're certainly better than Low (which was all I could run the game on before switching the Shader version)

Neither seems to matter. It's rumored that DX10 isn't even implemented

Rumored? Funcom came out and said it themselves that DX10 wasn't included with the US release, and would come at a later time (who knows when...)/

I saw a "limited" edition of this in Best Buy, you get a ring and a beer cape, I was sorta turned off by the look of the game because it came off like "Morrow Wind" to me. After reading up on it, it looks good, but I don't think it offers enough to pull me in like WoW, and FFXI before that.

Does look fun though.

This game really needs PvP consequences. Maybe a criminal red/blue name system with possible bag looting would be good. The PvP is just pointless ganking now, there's nothing to risk or gain.

It's not about that. There's just not much excitement in the PvP.
