You know... I remember seeing something like this in a game once... (and on wow) it suualy ended up one of 2 things usualy...

1. One side gets "super strong", so people move to just join the other side (or just move off that server, making it weaker) so it just constantly looses. Soorta reminds me of some bg's where you go in and your groups wearing some crappy gear, and the other side has like the best ingame gear pretty much possible and just run over you, then camp your 'spawn area" till the BG ends.

2. Same thing that happened on wow, people qq about pvp inbalances... and go on strike (well happened with my server) and people stopped going to AV battleground. So the time to join a AV bg went from like 2-5min to like 45min -> 1 hour+. Which then lead the people that wanted to BG (horde) mass blocking ally portals etc... lead to mass chaos/bannings/suspensions for weeks.

I always thought horde had a more pvp oriented player-base was because horde racials were pvp oriented.

I mean, if I had to roll a warrior JUST for pvp, I'd roll a warrior that has +5% hp and warstomp, tbh

Escape Artist (Gnomes) is hands down the best PvP racial for a Warrior, but!

Alliance racials are better overall in arena imo.

On topic, it looks like AoC is getting it's first class balance patch soon. Demo and Necro are both getting hooked up. I'm hoping Assassin gets something too, because that class just seems so meh at the moment.

Also, level difference in this game doesn't mean as much as WoW. I've been able to drop people 8+ levels higher with HoX, I'm sure I could with any class though. Granted, they sucked, but still that level gap in WoW would make the fight impossible for the lower guy to win. Two people 10+ levels lower can easily beat a single person also, except maybe Tempest of Set. I like how that works so far.

I heard level 50+ doesn't have near enough quests and there isn't even loot in the buggy 70+ dungeons. That's shitty, but I'm still playing alts and stuff so it doesn't effect me yet. They need to fix that asap or the game won't last though.

Aoc has hit another new low today in the world of dumbing this game down into a care bear drool fest. Hordes of Goonheim is a large popular guild on Deathwhisper who have numerous level 80's and a decent tiered city in AOC already. The following screenshot is of a DEV approaching the GM of the Goons and threatening a guild wide ban if they did not cease and desist from group pvp in the World or in instances.

I thought AOC was being advertised as a PVP game? Seems kind of a lame thing to do, especially on a PVP server.

I'm guessing ya havne't tried lock then I take it, since fear has near non existant chance to be resisted at any level by any level person! Me and a friend duo leveled affliction locks, killed lv 60+ people at lv 40-45 range (had skull symbol atleast thats 10+ levels) at felwood forest.

Well anyway, just as AoC has its tempest of set and ranger salvo 1 shot from far away rape, wow still has a few classes low lvl that can do the same (depends on player skill mostly imo and some gear! like.. them evil twinks definantly can rape people waaay above their level if skilled)

Anyway the things I mentioned about war hammer.. a game I played long ago called "nexus of the winds" which has a mmo graphics of like 1995, and still running ... O_o has a soorta "mass scale battleground" (last I remember ahd about 300-500 players in 1 zone) the game allowed people to level infinitly (to some possibly considered GM like status untouchable) made sides of the "battlegrounds" pretty unfair. Like... If your Lv99 and you tried to attack an Ma-San Mage, his HP regain would be more then the damage you could do since the mage has 8mil hp (lv99 warrior has about 2K hp). Wow isn't the only mmo i've played ya know that has bg's!

Yeah, the guild on AoC known as "Goonheim" is a major Corporation in EVE Online called GoonFleet. Some 14,000 members or something like that, apparently AoC is a pussy game because the GMs are pretty much harassing and banning anyone who links the conversation on their forums.

Glad I didn't get sucked into another shitty MMO.

How did you add extra shortcut bars along the side, and can you key bind them?

Go into your menu, go to Interface Options. Under the HUD tab you will see many options. Choose Additional Hotbar. You can right-click on the hotbar to make it face Vertical or Horizontal.

It clearly says in the image that another GM made the threat. People were also getting banned if they posted the image on the AOC forums.

It clearly says that random guy SAYS another GM made a threat. If they did, then use that pic for your cause. I've yet to see anyone post a pic of this supposed other GM on any of the forums I've read regarding this topic.
