Question for anyone who's opened up a gamecube.

I've bought a Japanese Orange gamecube , and was wondering how the wiring in the cubes are.

Would it be possible for me to open up my PAL black GC, and swap the contents with the JP orange GC, which would make my Orange GC a PAL machine?


edit : Yes I know I can just leave the Wii for playing GC games, but I'm kinda lazy and hate unplugging/replugging and such.

Yes you can, however, you need a special driver set to open the casing. The largest problem is setting it back in so you don't damage the disk drive, nor damage any of the other internals, because there's plenty of parts prone to breaking. I cant find anything on swapping the case, but I'm sure you can.

Why don't you just get it modded @ that point? From experience (Read: watching my a friend / ex do it) taking one apart isn't nearly as much of a pain in the ass as putting it back together.
