I really love greatsword, spinning slash will always be my favorite WS (right next to guillotine), but sadly SE made it suck major dick on the elite end so I'll just have to live vicariously through ike.

I used to love gswd... then I stopped subbing THF. It is kind of sad how pathetic gswd is compared to scythe most of the time. I mean, transplant the algol stats on a scythe and you would have pure lunacy, but on gswd it's just not usable most of the time.

My days of Arching Arrow 900 -> SS 1.2k -> Light 1.2k -> extremely dead dhalmel are long gone.

The scythe looks pro, and I was about to rofl if they were going to add another weapon to make the ragnarok look even dumber by comparison but I was satisifed to see that a Greatsword doesn't even exist.

The greatsword lovers of SE committed ritual suicide when they realized how retarded they made gswd for 99% of real uses.

But damn, I do want that scythe. Much sexier than apoc imo

Nyzul Relics...

Would be nice if these were obtainable by attaining Captain Rank and paying 100k ISP, to put them in reach of the average++ player (yes I have both of those already, hence my preferrence

How many more years will this game run for? If it takes 2 years to save and skimp to get the items/ISP needed for these, then would you get time to actually play with them before the servers shutdown?

A bit extreme I know, but how many really hard core ppl are left that have enough time to pump into a 6 year old game?

If it weren't for the fact that there's already a character named it in the game, I'd say Balrahn was Gilgamesh with this weapon lust.

First off, this is awesome. Kinda want to see what the stats are before deciding what weapon to pick, but I really hope each one gives a job-specific trait since it's a job-specific weapon. Like "Treasure Hunter +1" for the THF dagger or "Charm +5" for the BST axe... stuff like that.

Second, what do we put the over/under at on the first one being obtained? I know we don't know the reqs. at this point, but how long did it take for the first Dynamis Relics to start showing up? I would guess SE would make it about as much effort to obtain these.

Third,

Prolly like 10k gold pieces too would make them a little hard to get.

As was stated before, 10k gold pieces is probably too high... but some involvement with imperial currency will surely occur. Perhaps there will be an introduction for the imperial platinum pieces that have been in the .dats for so long and never used. (or were they removed?)

Lastly, you know the transformation process will require Imp. Wootz Ingots, right? I mean... it just has to.
