Ipod problem! Help!!

so after I plugged my ipod into a friends comp to add a song onto it and it said it can't recognize it, etc click here to put it back to factory settings I ejected it and looked on the iPod and there is nothing (no songs, movies anything) anywhere, but if I look in the about section, there is still all the space being taken up, and th fles are all on the ipod if I look through explorer. Is there any way to fix this without having to reload everything to it?

Did you try to reset it?
That might do the trick.

I did all the normal stuff, reset it, etc, I tried reloading the firmware with iPod wizard (had used it previously to change menus) and that didn't work either so I just reformatted it and stuck all the music that I could back on it.
