George McGovern is now calling for her to step aside. That's pretty big news. If she keeps on trucking the 'ALL THE WAY TO THE WHITE HOUSE' rhetoric she's going to alienate a lot of party leadership. Not listening to a close ally and a heavyweight within your own party is political suicide. Not that she was winning any points with party leadership by undermining their decisions on Florida/Michigan in the first place...at this point she should start thinking about her re-election for the Senate seat she holds.
Carl Bernstein was on CNN(=POLITICS) last night talking about how she probably doesn't want to go back to the Senate, because there's little chance she would be able to get enough popularity in the Senate to become majority leader. I could see her trying to get a guarantee of VP out of Obama, which he probably doesn't want because he wouldn't want Bill hanging around all the time, so she's left with basically having to stay in the race because, for her, there's no other option.
