I use macros for Ichi/Ni because I like to use alot of gear swaps Q.Q.

Ni is usually haste regardless of job.

I have 2 Ichi macros though, one is haste (for when I have shadows up and just replacing).

The other Ichi macro is Shield skill max(for pld >.>), Counter Skill max (for mnk >.>), and spell interupt/skill/haste(for nin).

/cheer to anyone able to blink tank effectively while tanking hard things, but just too much going on typically for me to handle that.

I use <stpc> in my Utsusemi macros. Since it does the blue arrow thing, it's like macroing your menu.

You're speaking about something as pathetically easy as meriting on birds, or soloing deco weapons though. It's like saying that tin foil and the heat resistant material they use on space shuttles are of the same usefulness because they both won't melt if you hold them 5 yards away from a campfire.

I mentioned soloing Faust not because I was bragging about being able to do it, or because I "farm" him for "stacks of sushi," but because Faust is a great example of WHERE YOUR PRECIOUS MENU CASTING WILL FAIL YOU. I'm confused where you got the impression that i was urging people to make the game more challenging (I'm actually advocating making the game easier by using macros), how calling soloing Faust an exercise in inefficiency even applies to this argument, or how your belief that BG is a place where niceties are the norm possesses such a colossally stupid vitality.

Here is my point:

When you come off as a "pompous pretentious asshole" people tend to ignore whatever your point was. It doesn't matter what you were trying to say.
