What i don't get is that, if they knew he knew that he was going to get bashed for bashing the game, why did they spam him with email anyway? It's like, if someone tells me i'm going to do something, i usually don't do it under some small glimmer of hope that i've rebelled agaisnt the system and therefore one-uped them even though it was probably their plan to use reverse psychology, but i don't really care because i'm a free spirit.

Yes, SSBB really isn't that great lol. I mean.. it's fun with friends, but overall it's meh. And gogo wasting your entire weekend to unlock Sonic and Snake.

Are you joking? Brawl is super fun to play with friends, and is the only fighting game I've ever owned where practicing against the computer on hard(lvl9 in this case) isn't a complete waste of time and/or extremely boring.

That said, emailing him was a stupid move, personally I look at Yahtzee as a funny troll, he dosen't like anything I do and I watch it for the humor.

The entire point of making his latest 'review' was to make people think twice and then twice again about over-generalized statements about That Game on Your Console. He's a critic, and a bitter one but nothing he says is necessarily wrong because it's pure opinion. And he doesn't pull opinions or scores completely out of his ass *cough*gamespot*cough*; he always gives pretty good reasons for why he had a crappy experience with a game (unlocking fighters is lame for a 'party' game you've just opened). Not unlike Penny Arcade he's not wrapped around the finger of some advertiser and realizes the ludicrousness of trying to 'be fair' to games when critiquing them.

It's not hard to unlock Snake. Play Snake Moss 15times, and if you want to cheat your way through play with one stock and suicide. Took me less than 10mins. You're scraping the bottom of the barrell to find good insults on Brawl :\

That's actually the only thing that threw me off about the SSBB review. If he gets to say that, I should be able to say "Who the fuck is Lucas?"

I also flew through most of Subspace Emissary in a short time, so I had a good number of the non-stock characters unlocked right off the bat. You get Marth (if I remember, he's the first non-stock in SSE) by stage 5?

I really couldnt have guessed that's what you meant, honestly. The point was that your comment was stupid and as easily dismissed as my point of SSE being easy ang quick to get around somehow not being the case because I have ike in my avatar. The game has its flaws, whether you'd like to admit it or not. It's certainly not the best game ever made, as Nintendo made it out to be.

You didn't have a point. If you expect me to sit here and lord the game as the best thing ever then you're being stupid. It is a quality game and the views on what the flaws are definitely come from your perspective. If you're going to take his review as anything more than a very funny view from a person who acts like actually being made to play a game he's going to review is some sort of crime then fanboyism is the problem here, but not of the people who actually enjoy the game. You'd also have to be out of your god damn mind to think that I (out of anyone who posts here) am not capable of viewing the flaws of something I play.

I'd give my left nut for MGS4, and I've been a huge fan of the series since MGS1, but you won't see me EVER defending the series, in public at least. Why? Cuz I, like most sane people, don't care that much if rest of the world thinks that a game I like is a pile of steaming shit that only retards play, as long as I like it.
