Ipod Help

So my Ipod did something wierd today - it froze up completely.

Walking down the street, all of a sudden music stops (with it on hold). Check headphones and no problems there. Screen is faded, song is still displayed but it's locked up and I can't do anything with it. Any thoughts?

Press and Hold both the Menu button and the Center Button until it resets and you see the Apple Logo on the screen.

Since I don't want to make a new thread when one is right here-- I dropped my iPod Nano like 1ft, and ever since it's been noticeably louder on one side of the headphones.. Anyone else ever experienced/fixed this?
