Does anyone have a parse or idea of it's hp? I know from experience it's relatively easy to bind poison etc with my gear and a friend of mine needs a hat. Just curious roughly what it has for hp before I offer to trio it >_> Setup would be RDM SMN BLM, so damage wouldn't be terrible.. but again I'd just like an idea how much it has. I remember reading 50k on somepage or wiki before, and that really doesn't seem right as I've done it as RDM BRD NIN on old character in a bit over an hour.

50k seems about right. I've done it as NIN RDM/DRK BRD and I think WHM, and it took about an hour for that as well. It's not a big stretch to do a thousand damage a minute on him, with the marches and haste on. Unless you meant it seems like he has more than 50k?

I've heard of RDMs soloing it, but if it does have 50k HP it must have taken a god awful amount of time (Genbu has 20k in comparison)...

Maybe it's just been too long since I played nin =/ I figured with near constant utsu casting I'd have lost a lot of damage. Zipacna is near an hour long fight and it only has 10k hp.. BLEH =(

He may have 50k but even though he's supposedly a level 85 mob his resist rates are very low and he takes damage very easily. I'd suggest doing it like you did it before as Nin, Brd, and Rdm if you have those jobs available. The quarters are kinda tough to be kiting so what's your strategy?

The pop area sucks, but the zone to ugga that leads to paintbrush area has enough space to bind and outrange firaga 3. Additionally, blm can use zone to reset hate.. pull isn't really that bad if you use the dropdown instead of trying to go back around the normal way. If it has 50,000 hp though.. it'd be much easier to persuade a couple melee to come <_> And no, I no longer have nin as an available job because my old character was banned(oh snap, fail, etc).
