Computer keeps going into standby...

Every time i hit the Ctrl key on the bottom left of my keyboard it goes into standby...it just started doing this shit today and i have no clue wtf it is. It wouldn't be too much of an issue, but out of habit i hit that key to pull up my macros, halp me prz QQ

Couple of questions, what OS are you on, what kind of KB do you have, and is it only the Left CTRL?

Running XP with service pack 2.
Using a Elite Keyboard LE from Logitech
And yes, its only the left ctrl key, right one still works

I can't find any close up pics of your KB, but it does look like you have a Function Lock key? And it also looks like your CTRL key has another character on it below the CTRL? Can't really see. Is it possible the Function Lock key is making your CTRL another function? I can't see the KB closely enough to tell if this is the case.

If you've ruled all that out, I'd try uninstalling/reinstalling the Logitech Software if you are using that. Could also attempt to just use it without that Logitech stuff and see if the problem persists.

Yeah there is a F-Lock Button, i reinstalled my software for my keyboard now its working cool, ty ^^. Was going to be super pissed if i needed to buy another Keyboard....
