Weird problem in FFXI.

Hi,

Recently i just got new PC. With Geforce 9800x2 1GB video card. Final Fantasy is running perfectly, but all the characters in any area dissapear and appear few times in 2-3 seconds, and it never stops. I wonder what would that be? Maybe install new drivers? Any thoughts?

P.S. Got new pc only 2 days ago. But drivers date on CD says 1/10/2008.

Hi this sounds exactly like what was happening to me, they weren't disapearing exactly just the game had like a puase every few seconds... I tried all kinds of crap but this finally fixed it.

Go to your network connection, get to the properties and uncheck "QoS Packet Scheduler".

Let me know if you have issues getting to that point.
