I have problems with the game simply freezing with no real rhyme or reason; internet connection not the issue. Windowing, apping, botting, whatever(okay, not all of that). Anybody want to rhyme or have a reason?

Also, I've had the graphics warp on me, stretch out to be incoherent blobs, but it appears the game is fine(long enough for me to type /shutdown). This has only happened twice since I upgraded to a GeForce 8600 GTsomething a few months ago. Feedback is appreciated.

Read the whole thing, updated drivers get posted a few times in there... there are Nvidia beta drivers created for FFXI mainly, your looking for the 174.74 drivers, they make them for both XP and Vista. This would be my first step if I were you.
