I spent the entire game carrying around an HM slave that had 4 HM moves on it. Switching in and out my 6th was sooooo annoying!Originally Posted by Lordwafik
Is it too much to ask for a fucking console pokemon game that plays like the gba/DS titles, the dungeon titles are alot diffrent, but with nintendo, every console everyhandheld same old shit every fucking system, but retards keep buying the shit so why break what works? I jsut want a good console pokemon rpg ; ;
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon is just the next step in the Mystery Dungeon series with Pokemon slapped on it. There are non-Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games. There's even a Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon.
Is it so much to ask for a motherfucking Pokemon MMO? I would quit life for that shit, god damn.
Pokemon MMO would be filled with the scum of the earth though. If you thought WoW had a bad community...
Every game attracts assholes, you'd be fooling yourself if you thought the ratio was really drastically different from game to game. Some games encourage behavior that might seem agressive, others don't and require you to play nice to achieve what you want. FFXI requires you to play nice a majority of the time, WoW doesn't, just a different style of game, not a different style of gamer. I also think you'd have alot of little kids but who cares, I just want to be able to roam around and catch fucking pokemon and go fight legendaries and shit, that'd be epic.
I'd be down for that shit.Originally Posted by Maguspk
No, Bob is right, the pokeman community on the internet is largely composed of mouth breathing fags.
And that's my simplification of what they are.
What if I said you're a mouth breathing fag!Originally Posted by Kuya

Then you'd essentially be asking me to show you my pokemans.Originally Posted by Maguspk

Didn't want to make a new thread for it since this one is sooooo full of love, but seriously, new trailer here, with....lots of stuff! Just watch, it looks promising! (imo)

Weren't those trainers near the end... old gym leaders? Fuck yeah?

Meaning you wouldn't be wrong, but you wouldn't be disproving his statement either. I left pokemon for FFXI, and in all good conscience, I can't disagree with Kuya's observation (though I have seen worse).
A REAL pokemon MMO would be the most awesome shit in all the universe, but it would RAPIDLY corrupt millions of children (well, more than the addiction and cock fighting thing). Basically, the bullshit spewing 12-40 year-olds who play the game like it's their daily medication will ruin it for all the 5+ year olds (or older people who are only a little into it)who have only a vague understanding of the actual mechanics and/or play cuz pikachu is awwwsum. While it still could be a good game if they made it right, Nintendo is trying really hard to go for the non-core crowd, and they wont risk the business of millions of naive children with a sparkle in their eyes and holes in their pockets.
But back to the MMO concept, I'd play it, but only if they adopted a system different from that of the original games. First of all, as an MMO, fuck random encounters. Second, strengthening 'mons should be a bit more in-depth. For example, training by doing something other than fighting and strengthening attributes within abilities (making an attack faster or stronger). Actual movement would be great, real dodging and such would make it more than just a static exchange of attacks. Maybe a command system like FFXI's pit where your commands are more like suggestions and how well they follow depends on how you raised them and how loyal they are......
Basically, I want it to be like the cartoon show. I regret nothing.
Looks cool I guess. I hope they close the grinding to 100 gap. D/P was the most painful game to lvl your guys to 100.
