July 1, 1995

Seven years after the tragic death of her brother Donnie, eighteen year-old classic beauty SAMANTHA DARKO (‘Daveigh Chase’) and her best-friend COREY RICHARDSON (‘Briana Evigan’) decide to make a cross-country road-trip to Hollywood and ‘make it big’.

Their car breaks down and they are left stranded in a small desert town. However, when an unexplained meteorite crash-lands in town, it soon becomes clear that there is much more at play than just a chance breakdown.

Plagued by what appear to be bizarre hallucinatory dreams warning her of the Universe’s end, Sam must face her demons. In doing so, she will learn the true meaning of family and friendship, saving both herself and the world.

Then what are you complaining about? The only crying generally going on here is "Wow they're going to ruin the world of Donnie Darko". Which means you had to have at least partially enjoyed the first movie. If you didn't like the first one then why do you even care about the second one.

First the remake, then the sequel. I call Ashton Kutcher for Boggart's part and Reese Witherspoon for Bergman's to culminate in the biggest piece of trash imaginable.

I was still in high school when the first one got popular and anytime you said anything negative about the movie you'd get ripped apart by twenty self righteous faggoids telling you "you just don't get and you don't understand great cinema." If I still hung around with any of these people, I'd wish it was a joke too.
