Monitor changed itself to a resolution that it doesn't have?

I have a Westinghouse 22" wide screen monitor that has a max resolution of 1600x1050. I woke up this morning and my resolution was set at 1600x1200 and the 1600x1050 option doesn't even appear anymore. I'm not complaining about free resolution but it's kind of strange.

I've tried re-starting and getting the latest video card drivers. I have an Nvidia Geforce 8800 GTS. Anyone know what caused this?

Go into the Nvidia control panel, and set the resolution there. I think it overrides the windows system settings. There's also an option somewhere, I can't remember exactly where, but it's a box that says "Show modes that this monitor does not support" make sure you don't use that.
