    Re: Jailer of Prudence/Love questions

We have 2-3 people outside ally killing aerns and just -ga the pops on spawn without pulling them. You don't even really need anyone killing aerns; just sleep any you accidentally hit and have BLMs kill them after the summons are dead. The only problem with having the BLMs kill them is that you get a bit less damage on JoL and a longer fight. /shrug

Best Prudence trick ever. Thanks for the tip.
We did the same today and worked like a charm. Makes the most annoying T2 fight the easiest. Thanks for the awesome tip. lol

Not true. If anyone in the alliance of the person who pops JoP is resting near JoP, then they will be put on the hate list.

Make sure no one is resting and there won't be any hate issues.

Was your Thf in the main ally when popped? Would it cause issues if it was/wasn't? We made an attempt at this with the thf trading the pop items and 1 of the Prudences decided to make a charge at the rdm who was wayyy in the back. I can't recall if they were in the same ally as the rest of us, or if they ended up being in a separate one.

And for this to work, does the thf have to perform some sort of action (steal, mug, something) upon the kited away Prudence?

Lastly, you hold the Prudence you end up killing until the kited away depops? Or bringing its HP down while other is taken away is fine?

Having the THF in the main alliance when popping Jailer of Prudence will most likely foil any depop you attempt. The THF doesn't need to take any action against it. Just pop, activate flee, and start heading for Sealion's Den. You can begin working on the other Jailer of Prudence while the THF is kiting his away. I definitely encourage it as the closed mouth version is easier to deal with. Damaging it to 5% then zerging down its remaining HP when the THF's copy depops is probably the easiest way to go about doing it.

So I guess you'd want a second THF to put Treasure Hunter on the Prudence copy you're killing?

So can you have a group of around 2-3 people Zombie the one you pull away while the main group fights one down to a low % and -then- let the other depop and zerg the last few %?

    Re: Jailer of Prudence/Love questions

We usually take Prudence very lightly. You can pretty much keep kiting them indefinetly around those trees which crowns are just above the sea floor. First one we kite to the tree a bit south of JoP area. The first Prudence we either kite around the bushes at pop area, or the tree nearby with BLMs nuking and kiting. Happens every now and then that a BLM dies, but not too often if careful.

Once first one is dead, everyone tracks to the other tree south of the pop area where the THF is kiting and BLMs (and RDMs for that sake) nuke it down like the previous. This way you don't need many people to be able to kill them. The trick about depopping one of them might be worth a try though

For JoL we find it easy to just have two RDM/NIN hold two adds and have BLMs focus mainly on JoL and only one summon every few mins.

    Re: Jailer of Prudence/Love questions

you could but why would you? the time it takes someone to kite all the way to the updraft or wherever you choose is plenty of time to get it down to a low percent @vyerz^

A W.Legs/Powder Boots RDM/NIN shouldn't have any problem doing the depop trick in place of a THF would they?

If you are going to straight tank and the tanks are new to Prudence, have an invincible order set up for the second twin and zerg/nuke the living shit out of it. Alternatively, It's possible to try bounce hate between tanks on the second twin. The longer the second twin prudence lives, the more you will probably regret it lived.
