0/256 or so on all blessed gear+1. I synthed around 8 a few days ago, and still had no joy. Biggest batch of NQs in one go was 30 or so.

Just made a fresh batch of 15 Cursed Fng. Gnt. I'm probably like 2/40+ on gauntlets alone and 6/120+ on all the T1 cursed synths for alchemy.

You can get angel skin from desynthing heca gear. I did it awhile back when I had tons of subligars. went like 1/14 for -1.

0/30 Prism Capes currently, pretty sure I went about 2/200 at one point...

0/36 on Prism Cape and I have the problem of only being able to synth once or a month or so coz it takes a while to sell all those NQs :/

I don't have a mule, even after 4 years of playing. So my storage is very very limited.

I'n not a high level clothcrafter, however I have noticed one of the most active CC'ers on Odin desynthing most if not all the NQ's for threads which he instantly rolls back into cloths>more capes instead of trying to sell them.

Yeah I do that too sometimes when I need the thread for some other synth and am too lazy to go farm more/buy from AH. However desynthing is supposedly fixed at 33% success at most. And I have my furniture arranged for earth and moglification, so I can't really afford Moghancement: Desynthesis or Lightning.

Bottom line being that I break too much to be worthwhile to me. Since money is scarce these days I prefer waiting for the capes to sell while I farm some more spider webs. Moreover I'm not trying to synth the HQs for profit but rather sign myself one^^

I'd like to see numbers to back that up.

I'm sure there are numbers somewhere, but from having done several levels of skill up by desynth...which means hundreds of synths, that sounds about right.

Having done literally thousands and thousands of desynths, I believe that the numbers differ greatly. I even believe that *gasp* day of the week can have an effect on desynthesis. I'd like to see what kind of trials have been done to determine these numbers.
