There's no such thing as invites in BC, well, SPU were able to request invites but not any more. They opened recently at random times, however, the number of max users has been reached, sorry. ;x

Do you know about how often they prune (which I assume leads to open registration)?

I'm not looking for like some set date but there's a difference between doing it every few weeks, and only doing it a couple times a year.
